So, we stopped at the time I was trying to get rid of my spots for the second time.

I started to talk to my friends. One of them works for the dermatologist. She said, they have many treatments that "rinse off" spots. So I got the appointment with the doctor and went. She looked and examined my spots with differnt lamps. And again, she said, my spots are kind of deep, so you cannot do anything else than apply Cosmelan. I did some thinking but finally I decided to do it. So I went thought the procedure again. It was begging of sunny days again. Everyone says it cannot be done during the summer time, but the doctor said it does not matter really, you just have to apply sun protection and make sure you have a hat on your head and your galsses every time you face the sun. Also, make sure you have Cosmelan to apply it at night. To be honest, this way I stayed in Barcelona for a month in August and then went for 2 weeks: first to Sri Lanka (doing loads of sight seeing) and then to Maldives (where we were just lying on a beach). And this time no sports reappeared. I am still using my Cosmelan once a day, every day. I apply it only on the places I had spots every day, and once in a while to the whole face. After some time, it can be reduced to 3 times a week then to two times a week. The worst thing about spots is that you cannot get rid of them forever, At least this is not sorted out by big medical/farmaceutical companies (or they do not want it to be sorted out...).

Anyway, the bright side and advise coming out from this story is thay you absolutely ALWAYS should use sunscreen. The more you put it on your face, the more chances of getting bad sun influence you get. The thing then is to find a good sunscreen. I guess this is not the first post about it on this blog, as to be honest I had to get a lot of experienced in this field in a short time.

In this post I would like to present the Obagi Sunshield Matte Broadspectrum SPF 50. Believe me I went thorugh a lot of sunscreens, but this one is the best under your make up. It leaves your skin how it was before applying it. It has a very light texture and it melts into your skin immediately, though you get a sense of moisture and definitely it protects your skin from the bad sun influence. It is a broad spectrum, so it is very safe and very protective. I am still trying it, as it came along with my last Cosmelan, but so far so good. I will keep you posted if anything changes ;)

Anyway, for the moment this is it from the face-from-sun-protection front!

Cheers

Gosia
