REVIEW: MAKEUP REVOLUTION 144 ULTIMATE MATTE EYESHADOW COLLECTION 2017

Hi all,

Today’s the time to look at my latest eyeshadow palette. I have quite a number of them to be honest as I really love Makeup Revolution’s eyeshadows. This one is a gift from one of my favorite people : Ola

But, to the point. As mentioned in the title, 144 eyeshadows. Seems like huge number and it really is.

Everyone can find something for themselves. The problem with this kind of eyeshadow palette is that some of these colors when used, look the same. Especially lightest ones. They either seem to be white or light beige.

Texture is most of the time nice, soft. Eyeshadows have a lot of pigment, therefore they are easy to use, but also you have to be careful not to put on too much. On the other hand, there rare few, which are very hard and not easy at all to blend. Mostly the ones with grey pigment.

1st column

Very light one. I would use them mostly as primer for the other shadows, just to make their colors more intensive.

2nd column

This column contains darker colors, more for blending and light, delicate make ups.

3rd column

Again very light and delicate colors. For me looks like perfect braid make up.

4th column

Here we’re heading towards more “decided” colors. Autumn autumn autumn.

5th column

This one gets a perfect all-week-look colors. You can blend a make up no make up for work as well as a night out make up with them.

6th column

I would say these colors are interesting. Taking into consideration popularity that the orange gained in make up lately, I think some nice make up can be blended from these ones. Red one can be used as a blush.

7th column

This is where my favorite part starts in this palette. Brown, dark brown and some violet and blue ish.

8th column

I could repeat what I said before. With more dark colors. Love it!!!

9th column

All right. This is a holiday-kind of look. Be careful though, especially with the ones to the left. Not everyone looks great in them. Those to the right are more friendly.

10th column

This one is more calm. Very cold though. Perfect spring.

11th column

Another column full of colors. These ones are kind of warmer spring kind of. But to be honest these are not the most easy colors. But definitely worth trying.

12th column

Last column. This is like kids play. Pastel, funny, summertime in its full.

Summarizing:

Definitely, many fantastic make ups can be created with this palette. Make ups of different kinds. Wedding, work, party, summer, winter, etc. I could go on and on. But they are Matt shadows, which tend to last longer but also to be stronger and less forgiving. I think you can limit the number of cosmetics if you have this palette. You can do shadows, blush and bronzer with these. But on the other hand if you’re not the make up artist, do you really need these many shadows which do not really differ ones from the others (especially the light ones)? Think about it.
